A strong performance from Crumlin 2 tonight, getting off to an excellent start and building an 18–11 lead after the first quarter.
We were a little untidy at the beginning of the second, with a few errors creeping in, but settled ourselves well and regained control of the game to go into half-time 33–19 ahead.
The second half became a bit scrappier, but the girls kept their heads and continued to work hard defensively. Sienna and Orlaith came up with plenty of important steals, while Méabh had a really strong game in attack, giving us a big contribution when we needed it.
We kept the scoreboard moving and saw the game out well to take a deserved 61–39 win.
